Katrina Edwards

Katrina is a part of the early history of the Pilates industry in Australia and her initial trainers were inspired by Carola Trier and Rael Isacowitz. This early experience established foundation skills and experience for Katrina prior to any formal accreditations.

Katrina has firmly established herself as a Principal Pilates practitioner and business leader in the health and wellbeing industry, having run a reputable Pilates business for 15 years. Katrina also owns and manages a Registered Training Organisation – National Pilates Training, offering government accredited courses and has been training and mentoring students since 2001 alongside Sally Anderson and the PilatesITC team.

Katrina has taught in a range of settings and continues to exercise her skills across rehabilitation, sports specific conditioning, mentoring and coaching Aligned for life Pilates teachers and National Pilates Training students and staff. Katrina is currently employed as Student Development Coordinator and Conditioning Specialist at the Australian Ballet School, Melbourne City Football Club – rehab and conditioning, Western Bulldogs Football Club – Consultant, Director of training for National Pilates Training, business development for Aligned for life Pilates.

Katrina is passionate about physical health and mental wellbeing.
